Barbara Etzkorn, designer
Barb Etzkorn is helping pounce answer the age-old question, How does one catch an eye?
We used to think the best method was a fishhook, too, but Barb's award-winning designs now have us convinced otherwise.

Barb joins the pounce team as our resident concept designer and Web creator following work at Campbell Mithun, Minneapolis, where she served as junior art director. We were duly impressed by her experience there — and by her 11 awards for design excellence. Barb earned her degree in design from Brainco: Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design, & Interactive Studies following undergrad work at the College of St. Benedict.

✓ Statue of Nike Goddess
When Barb's not catching eyes for pounce, she's thinking about Nike. A lot. (The goddess Nike pictured.) She fell in love with the first Nike ad in 1980 and has been collecting the ads ever since. Ask her about her Nike shoe wedding cake, but don't ask her husband why she wanted to name their first-born son "Aaron Jordan." (It's a sore spot.)
